The Coombe Abbey Wedding Video Of Jay and Sapna
It is your friends and family that know you best and when they set you up with someone, you know they’re not often wrong. In the case of Jay and Sapna, their friend got it spot on when introducing the couple. Their relationship soon blossomed and, as a result, I was happy to be their wedding videographer for their beautiful Coombe Abbey wedding.
In the heart of Warwickshire, Coombe Abbey is a beautiful stately home with a fascinating history. From being home to royalty to having an integral role in the Gunpowder Plot, Coombe Abbey has witnessed many historical milestones and lots of high drama. Fortunately, for Jay and Sapna, there was no drama for their wedding day just plenty of romance, celebration and laughter.
The Engagement Of Sapna and Jay
The best engagements are the ones that are the biggest surprise. This was undoubtedly true for Jay and Sapna. While spending New Year’s Eve with her Gran, Sapna was happy to enjoy a quiet night in. However, not wanting to spend New Year’s Eve without her, Jay came round, with a delicious feast and bottle of wine to accompany a film with.
At the stroke of midnight, Jay proposed to Sapna, taking her completely by surprise.
With the Die Hard film playing in the background, nothing says modern romance more than Bruce Willis as the backdrop!
Perhaps what binds their relationship most, is their shared sense of humour. In fact, it is how funny they are which is what they both love about each other.
The Wedding Day
Set in the stunning surrounds of Coombe Abbey, it was a beautiful view for the guests while also allowing me the chance to explore to create romantic wedding videography. From the waterside views, beautifully manicured gardens and statues, it was a pleasure to film such a beautiful setting and see the love and happiness shine through from Jay and Sapna. It was a chance to capture the excitement and love as newlyweds, in their first moments alone after making their marriage official.
The wedding had so much going on it was a struggle to capture it all on their wedding video. From the drumming and dancing in the build-up to the beautifully symbolic wedding traditions in the ceremony; there was a fantastic energy and vibrancy throughout the day.
With loved ones brought together to celebrate, there were so many embraces, chatter and laughter that offered the wedding a beautiful soundtrack of happiness.
After the ceremony, it was truly time to celebrate. The lights in the marquee went down, so all that was left was beautiful, twinkling fairy lights. With the music on loud, guests revelled in the chance to party the night away with plenty of dancing.
It was truly a pleasure to be a part of such a wonderful wedding day and to create their wedding video.
