Copthorne Hotel Effingham – Ekta & Privesh wedding

The Wedding of Ekta and Privesh was such a fantastic experience. We’ve spent tree days together and there was hardly a dull moment. With few pre-wedding rituals, a Civil ceremony, a Hindu Ceremony, vivacious dancing and adherence to tradition it was a true celebration of the fantastic union of two souls and a wedding full of fun and frolic. We absolutely loved it!
All events took place at the Copthorne Hotel Effingham Gatwick and for us wedding videographers it was extremely convenient. Rather than spending time on traveling from one place to another we could fully focus on the couple and their family and friends, filming all different aspects of the Wedding and capturing the atmosphere of their Big Day.

Civil Ceremony and Mehndhi Night

Our work as wedding cinematographers started from recording Ekta & Privesh’s Civil Ceremony. For this part of the day Ekta wore amazing white dress and she looked absolutely stunning in it. Bride and Groom said their “I do’s” in Wellingtonia Suite which was full of natural light. A dream coming true of any wedding videographer. After the ceremony it was time for a Mehndi night! It was a colourful and cheerful celebration and involved lots of singing, a lot of spectacular dancing, and of course, mehndi! The mehndi artist drawn a very beautiful design on Ekta’s hands and feet with the henna paste. From what we read Mehndi symbolises love and it is said that the darker the colour of the mehndi, the more love and respect the bride will get from her future husband. It was such fun night and it definitely marked the start of the wedding festivities.

Hindu Ceremony & Evening Reception

The final day, Hindu Wedding Ceremony and Evening Reception was yet another amazing celebration. With beautifully decorated mandap and impressive ceiling the Millenium suite looked wonderful. Without a doubt Ekta and Privesh with careful planing and attention to detail made sure that each element of their wedding was nothing less than perfect. Our wedding videography coverage started from the morning preparations where one wedding videographer filmed Bride’s geting ready and second videographer covered Groom’s morning ceremonies. As wedding cinematographers we believe that a team of two is just perfect – not too many to disturb anyone and just enough to film all aspect of Bride and Groom Big Day. Ekta looked absolutely amazing in her traditional hindu dress. Of course lets not forget about the Groom who looked super elegant during the Hindu Ceremony and the Indian Wedding Reception. While Ekta and Privesh wedding ceremony was both special and beautiful, the reception is probably what guests are most looking forward to—who doesn’t want to eat, drink and dance? And all guest did have a fabulous time!
