A WONDERFUL DAY
1st of December 2018 – how wonderful day it was! While the weather may not have been the best, the incredible Wedding of Harai and Sheena certainly made sure that it was a day to remember! We had a pleasure of meeting Harai few years ago. He was a photographer on one of the wedding we filmed. Our paths crossed few more times over the years and it is always great to work with the familiar face. Few months ago Harai announced that his getting married and when he asked us if we are available to film his and Sheena’s Big Day we could not be more honoured! Of course as it was getting closer to the Wedding the stress levels started to creep up a little – to film photographer’s Wedding is always a challenge – but we were truly delighted to be a part of their Special Day!
HARAI AND SHEENA’S SIKH WEDDING
Providing a videography coverage for Bride and Groom’s Pre-wedding events always gives a great opportunity not only to get to know Bride and Groom better but also to meet their closest family and friends. And we absolutely loved spending time with Harai and Sheena’s nearest and dearest while filming Jago and Mayian. When the Big Day arrived we started the videography coverage in respective houses with one videographer filming Bride’s morning preparations and the other videographer Groom’s morning ceremonies. Sheena looked absolutely stunning in her burgundy/maroon dress and matching lipstick. We love her morning shots! She’s so beautiful, full of positive energy and lovable – we had a great time filming her.
As the Bride and Groom set off for the wedding ceremony at Guru Amar Das Gurdwara in Leicester two families came together and the traditional Milni began. Both families exchange garlands and celebrate this beautiful union ahead of the ceremony for the bride and groom. Not long after it was time for Anand Karaj – Harai and Sheena became a husband and wife!
LET’S PARTY!!!
After the ceremony, the wedding party travelled from the Gurdwara to the Shree Prajapatti Association in Leicester where evening reception was held. The reception room had been beautifully laid out, with lovely centrepieces and soft lighting. As a Wedding videographers we love to film decorations! When the music kicked in, the dance floor was full as all friends and family joined to celebrate the joy and happiness of the newlywed couple. What a fantastic party it was! Dear Harai and Sheena it was a wonderful Wedding to film and a joy to be a part of. Thank you for having us as your Wedding videographers. We wish you nothing but the best for this amazing journey you have decided to embark on together.
