Hilton Wembley wedding film – Dipen and Dhanisha

My role as a videographer has me recording many unions between loving couples, be it a civil partnership, or a wedding. I get to explore so many different cultures while meeting a number of fabulous people along the way. My latest project was focused on the Hindu wedding of Dahinisha and Dipen, who made their union official in the Hilton in Wembley, a mere stone throw away from Wembley Stadium.
To say that the day was emotional is something of an understatement. Many turned up to celebrate the wedding of Dahinisha and Dipen, all with colourful outfits that really reflected the Hindu traditions that mean so much to this happy couple. As well as being dressed to impress, all guests were fully immersed in the rituals that took place throughout the day, making it a day Dahinisha and Dipen won’t forget in a hurry.
Smiles were in abundance as the two made their happy union, with a more than heartfelt speech delivered perfectly by the best man, much to everyone else’s approval.
The celebrations that followed were no less emotional. A room full of people showed nothing but happiness for this wonderful couple, and this was shown by the pure energy and positivity filling the environment, making for a truly immersive recording experience.
This video shows just some of the highlights from the big day, and let me tell you, there was plenty to choose from. The work of a videographer can be challenging, but being able to shoot a film that showcases so much love and happiness really reminds me of why I starting working in the sector in the first instanced.
Of course, every cinematographer needs the right kind of team behind them, or in this instance, second shooter. Aleksandra was my co-pilot for this wonderful union, and she too has an eye for capturing the right moments at the right time, and did a fabulous job in helping me create a video both Dahinisha and Dipen can be proud of in years to come.
A film can make for an ideal keepsake, or as a present to those who weren’t able to attend your wedding or civil wedding. It also reminds you of just how special your loved one is, and just how many loved ones were keen to be part of your special day.
