Recently I had the pleasure of shooting Luke and Vanessa’s wedding which was held in The Connaught hotel, one of the most prestigious hotels in London. The day itself offered beautiful weather and the first port-of-call was preparations for the civil ceremony, which started in the morning. Luke and Vanessa then moved onto the civil ceremony itself, joined by close friends and family.
The wedding was filled with smiles as Luke and Vanessa made their commitment to each other official, much to the delight of their friends and family. The love the two share between each other is something of beauty, and really showcased how powerful a bond can be between two people.
Luke and Vanessa have two adorable children, Jake and Josh, who also contributed in making the civil ceremony as enjoyable as it was. The two boys really enjoyed delivering their reading to an engrossed audience at the civil ceremony, as did everyone in attendance. A further speech was also delivered by Sophie, Luke’s sister which was met with much applaud. All readings carried out on the day really showed how much Luke and Vanessa mean to their friends and family.
The day was a very intimate affair and really a joy to shoot. To make a memorable civil ceremony video, there has to be memorable occurrences to capture, and the civil ceremony between Luke and Vanessa offered more than enough material for a truly beautiful wedding film.
Not only can the day be experienced again and again, but friends and family who weren’t able to make it on the day can still enjoy the wedding. This London wedding film can make a great keepsake, a fabulous present or just preserve the fabulous memories for years to come, where potential grandchildren can view their parent’s heritage.
