Last summer we had the great pleasure to document a colourful and elegant outdoor Hindu wedding of Rupa and Yougunn held at a beautiful wedding venue, Ragley Hall. “It was really important to us that we incorporated both of our traditions in the wedding ceremony. Despite both of us being Hindu, I am Gujarati and Yougunn is South Indian/Sri Lankan therefore we were excited to blend the two cultures on the day. We also really wanted an outdoor wedding with a tropical destination wedding vibe. It was really important that we had our close friends and family around us and to feel the warmth and love on the day”, shared Bride and Groom. It was a great pleasure to create Rupa and Yougunn’s Warwickshire Hindu wedding video.

As a luxury Indian wedding videographer I can honestly say that Ragley Hall is without a doubt a perfect wedding venue and one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Warwickshire. Set at the heart of Shakespeare’s England this Georgian pillared house created a beautiful background to Rupa and Yougunn’s luxury indian wedding. “We searched and searched for the right venue. We wanted somewhere new but local to the West Midlands as we were both working and living there. We almost settled on somewhere else, but then came across Ragley Hall on Instagram. The pictures of the venue exuded grandeur and elegance and it had beautiful grounds and gardens. This was when we knew that Ragley Hall was the venue for us”, shared the Bride.

BRIDE’S TIP FOR PLANNING A LUXURY INDIAN WEDDING

“We decided very early on to hire a wedding planner. We found the venue, photographers and videographers ourselves as these were really important to us. With both of us being doctors and working full time during the covid pandemic, we were quite short on time and we realised that we needed some help from someone with experience in the wedding industry. We found Parvy at Snob events and straight away we felt like she was a great fit for us. We needed help to source the rest of our suppliers and manage the wedding day itself so that our immediate family could be present in the moment”, explained the Bride. “Something that I would advise couples, which is something someone told me before my wedding, is to try their best not to stress too much about what might go wrong on the day, in the end everything falls into place and no one will even know if something isn’t supposed to happen”, added Rupa.

BEAUTIFUL OUTDOOR HINDU WEDDING CEREMONY IDEAS

Rupa and Youguun took full advantage of the weather and decided to have a hindu ceremony in the sunshine. The beautiful mandap, adorned with pink and peach florals, complimented the Ragley Hall grounds perfectly. “We took inspiration from weddings abroad that we had been to. We wanted to combine an exotic summery feel with the English country style as we had guests coming from abroad”, explained Bride.
