STUNNING INDIAN FUSION WEDDING VIDEO

Last summer on a beautiful sunny day we had the great pleasure to film Rebecca and Vinay’s stunning Indian fusion wedding held at one of Herefordshire finest venues, Homme House. “Our inspiration was drawn from our cultural backgrounds. We wanted to honour Vinays’ Gujarati roots but also Rebecca’s Jewish background as well as our love for the English countryside. We’re told the wedding reminded people of a Bollywood meets Bridgerton so we hope we succeeded in our creative brief !”, shared Rebecca. “One of our best friends married us and so it was really important to us that the ceremony reflected us truly. We wanted to write our own vows to reflect this and we wrote the ceremony also, such that all the components that were important to us could be portrayed”, added Vinay.

As a Herefordshire wedding videographer I truly enjoyed filming Rebecca and Vinay’s beautiful fusion hindu wedding. It was a memorable day full of love, fun and amazing DIY wedding decor. “Our favorite moment without a doubt, the ceremony. The stresses of the day were eased as soon as we saw each other at the end of the aisle and having all our friends and family Together to witness the ceremony meant the world to us. It was the most special ceremony, we had spent such a long time with our dear friend Julian who was our amazing celebrant, planning all the personal touches and it felt like such an incredible moment to finally be there. It felt absolutely magical”, said Vinay.

BRIDE’S TIPS FOR PLANNING AN OUTDOOR FUSION WEDDING

We love when our Bride and Groom shares their experience about planning a dream wedding. Here are a few tips from Rebecca, our gorgeous Bride on how to plan a beautiful DIY Indian fusion wedding at Homme House. “The planning process definitely had its ups and downs, not least because we got engaged just before lockdown which inevitably made everything rather challenging. Vinay is definitely the organised one and so before long we had a wealth of excel spreadsheets and detailed folders with all our wedding info. The high was definitely having fun with planning the creative vision. It was really important to us that the fusion element of our marriage was reflected in all parts of the wedding and we hope we managed to pull it off. Rebecca and her mum were chief artistic directors and made most of the decorations by hand which although at times stressful was hugely satisfying and a reflection of the love poured into the wedding from start to finish”, explained Rebecca. “Take your time, and try to remember at all times this is about the two of you coming together. Weddings inevitably have their stresses and it’s difficult to try and please everyone, so remember what’s important to you both at all costs”, added the Bride.

HOMME HOUSE WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER

It was such an honour to film the recent Homme House Wedding. This Grade II listed country home nestled in 200 acres of rural Herefordshire countryside provided a perfect backdrop to Rebecca and Viany’s fusion wedding video. What is more, Homme House wedding venue offers 3 unique spaces for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Rebbaca and Vinay decided to get married in front of the 17th century Summer House located at the Walled Garden. With the stunning wedding decor the Summer House proved to be the perfect spot for Rebecca and Vinay’s fusion wedding outdoor ceremony. “The venue was a challenge because of the different components we wanted as part of our wedding ceremony. We struggled for a number of months to find somewhere that ticked all the boxes but on several google attempts later we found Homme and fell in love with it ( & the owners! ) upon our first visit”, explained Rebecca.
