Radisson Blu, Heathrow Hindu wedding film – PJ and Natisha
The Wedding Of PJ and Natisha
It is always a pleasure to be selected as a London wedding cinematographer, especially for such a lovely couple as PJ and Natisha. Taking place in the stunning atrium in the Radisson Blu in Heathrow, it provided the perfect backdrop for a beautiful wedding surrounded by family and friends. From the mesmerising beauty of the venue to the glitz and glamour of the beautiful wedding outfits, there was so much for me to capture as a London wedding cinematographer.
I am grateful to PJ and Natisha for allowing me to share their fantastic day with them. I am also thankful to Adams Photography who recommended me as a wedding cinematographer to the lovely couple.
The Wedding Day Of PJ and Natisha
The wedding day began in typical style with both the bride and groom getting ready with their respective friends and family. To help capture the preparations of both PJ and Natisha, I enlisted the help of my fantastic assistant Aleksandra who filmed Natisha’s wedding preparations which included hair, makeup and plenty of dazzling jewellery. I focused on preparations with PJ including filming the party atmosphere as PJ arrived at the venue with his friends and family. With drummers, music and plenty of dancing, the wedding celebrations were in full force with anticipation building for the bride’s arrival. With bride, Natisha arriving at the venue in a gorgeous classic car, she made a stylish entrance with fantastic help thanks to a ‘here comes the bride’ sign carried by a young family member doing his job exceptionally well! The wedding ceremony was full of emotion, carrying out many Hindu Punjabi wedding traditions such as the exchange of floral garlands, families gathering to assist and the sacred fire.
The Reception
After the wedding ceremony, it was time to celebrate. Guests were treated to flutes of champagne to toast the newlyweds, while they made a grand entrance as husband and wife on the balcony in the atrium of the wedding venue. After an outfit change into another beautiful dress for the bride and smart tuxedo for the groom, it was time to party. The rest of the day was filled with hugs, embraces, laughter and plenty of dancing! The wedding breakfast quickly followed, which was fully of heartfelt speeches. Natisha’s best friend and sister made a speech; including many sweet and meaningful lines such as; ‘I think the real joy is knowing you belong, that you have a person that belongs to you and you to them’. From PJ’s side, he enlisted the help of his two best friends to make a speech as well as saying a few words himself as he toasted his bride, Natisha; “When you finally realise you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”After the first dance when all eyes were on the bride and groom, the dancefloor erupted. For wedding cinematography, the dancefloor was so packed it was hard to find a place to film. It was such a joy to see everyone having such a fantastic time as they celebrate love, marriage, friendship and happiness.
