The Wedding Film Of Manpal and Munprit

When your wedding day is the happiest day of your life, you never want the day to end. Or, if you’re a couple like Manpal and Munprit, you can enjoy two incredible wedding days together instead of one! With both a Sikh wedding and a civil ceremony, the happy couple and their friends and family had the chance to enjoy two fun-filled wedding days, both with very different styles and atmospheres.
As their chosen wedding cinematographer, I was delighted to be a part of not one but two special wedding days for Manpal and Munprit. Furthermore, it was a chance to capture the many fantastic aspects of each wedding day to craft a beautiful film that they can treasure forever.

The Beginning Of The Love Story

Manpal and Munprit began their story together with their first date in November 2016. Finding love quickly, it was just less than two years before the breath-taking engagement. On a romantic break to Edinburgh, Manpal arranged for the couple to have drinks at the top of Calton Hill in Edinburgh, with a jaw-dropping view of Edinburgh below.
At the top, Manpal then took Munprit’s breath away by getting down on one knee and proposing. This was much to the delight of the onlookers at the hill! From there, the couple continued the romance and celebrated their engagement in fine style with dinner at The Witchery, just a stone’s throw from Edinburgh Castle.

The Wedding Of Munprit and Manpal

For their Sikh wedding ceremony, it was important to find a Gurdwara that they felt they had a special connection too. For Munprit, the choice was clear. Jassa Singh Ramgarhia Sikh Temple in Birmingham was where Munprit’s parents, aunt and uncle and sister and brother-in-law all got married. After visiting together as a couple, they both felt the temple was the perfect place for their wedding too.
The wedding truly captured the personality of the couple; from beaming smiles to plenty of giggles, the love and friendship were clear. Everyone wanted to join in with the fun!
The colours, vibrancy and warmth of the wedding created a truly magical atmosphere. As a wedding cinematographer, it was a delight to capture all of this through the cinematography. From the nervous and excited preparations to the party atmosphere, the whole wedding was full of incredible, love-filled energy.
From Manpal’s selfless nature to Munprit’s caring personality, the wedding was a testament to how perfect the couple are for each other and how much they love about each other. It was no wonder that everyone piled on to the dancefloor to dance the night away in celebration that Munprit and Manpal had tied the knot!
It was a joy to be their wedding cinematographer, and I wish them every success for the future. This future will no doubt be filled with the activities they love most, from travelling to trying new restaurants and, of course, enjoying cuddles on the sofa!
