Warwick Castle wedding film – David and Seema
Warwick Castle has hosted thousands of guests in its extensive history (not all of them willing!) but none as happy as Seema and David on their wedding day. I am not sure there is a more romantic wedding venue in Warwick than this majestic castle with its stone fortifications, glorious gardens, and more than one thousand years of history you will become part of for the day.
It is an absolute delight to provide wedding videography in Warwickshire with incredible venues like this to work in. Seema and David’s wedding day was a harmony of English and Asian styles. Wearing an elegant and intricately embroidered wedding dress, Seema’s beauty was the perfect foil to David’s very British suit, while guests wearing both pretty summer dresses and saris mingled on the terrace by the picturesque Peacock Gardens.
We can’t talk about a wedding in Warwick without mentioning the weather! Typical of a British summer, it was a mix of sunshine and clouds, but we were fortunate that it stayed dry and I was able to get some fantastic wedding film of guests as they chatted after the ceremony, which was held in the wonderfully ornate State Dining Room. After the newlyweds had finished with their photos, we all moved into the magnificent Great Hall for dinner, speeches, and dancing.
Warwick Castle is an exceptionally well-run wedding venue, as entertaining as it is comfortable. It was impossible not to be impressed by weapons and suits of armour which accentuated the sense of history provided by the thick stone walls and suitably grand furniture. The leather chairs that seated the happy couple looked almost throne-like, yet nothing felt at all staged or artificial – it’s very expertly done to feel romantic, timeless, and completely authentic as, indeed, much of it is. Seema and David added some fun touches of their own including a jester and Red Knight who watched over the guests from his horse.
Before they headed off on their honeymoon to Hawaii and the West Coast of America, Seema and David treated their guests to an amazing firework display which made certain their wedding would remain unforgettable. The sun had set on an incredible day, but I felt it was just starting to rise on the first day of their rest of their lives together.
