Civil ceremonies often provide a lot of memories, so it’s important that every special moment of the day is captured perfectly. The civil ceremony between Philip and Jennifer was one such event that provided more than enough memorable material to encapsulate just how special the day was. Both the civil ceremony and the reception were held at Bassmead Manor Barns, a moated barn wedding venue situated in the centre of Cambridgeshire. The venue provided an idealistic setting for two special people who love each other very much to make their union official. As Philip and Jennifer exchanged their vows, it was evident how much the couple mean to friends and family, as more than a few tears were shed. The emotional vows were matched with a heartfelt speech by Jennifer’s father, reinforcing further how much love there is for Philip and Jennifer. The happy couple then celebrated their union with family and friends with a spacious reception that carried on the emotional atmosphere experienced during the wedding. Friends and family joined in with the laughter and dancing with the limelight shining brightly on the wonderful couple. I was very honoured to be able to be part of Philip and Jennifer’s big day. Much of my job is to capture the memorable and special moments that really make the day stand out, but the job is so enjoyable and rewarding thanks to the special couples I work with, such as Philip and Jennifer. Having a civil ceremony put onto film means that the wonderful memories are preserved forever. Moments can be experienced over and over, and absent family and friends can watch the video to see just how beautiful the day really was. Photographs do a lot to capture special moments throughout the day, but a wedding video will ensure that every detail is recorded, ensuring that the viewer will go through series of emotions will be experienced when watching it.
