The Muslim Wedding of Shabana and Nabeel
Set in the luxury Hilton Hotel in Croydon, was the beautiful wedding of Shabana and Nabeel. Taking their own personal touches for their wedding, the Hilton Croydon was transformed, full of beautiful flower arrangements and a backdrop of white roses.
As a wedding cinematographer, it was a spectacular occasion with many aspects to cover. There was much excitement as the groom arrived at the wedding venue in a stylish white limo, while the bride arrived in a BMW wedding car. When both parties had entered, it was time to get the celebrations underway.
The Muslim wedding ceremony
At the start of the ceremony, it was brilliant to capture the build-up of excitement as drummers lead the way to the service. As guests waited excitedly for the bride, Shabana, to arrive, they were treated first to an adorable flower girl who lined the pathway of the bride with flowers.
As Shabana arrived, the happiness and love between the couple were evident. With beaming smiles and proud faces within the audience, it was easy as a videographer to capture the emotion and excitement of the special day. During the Muslim wedding ceremony, the speeches showed the importance of the relationship between Shabana and Nabeel and how it was not only a relationship but friendship and marriage too.
Watching the bride and groom sign their wedding certificates was a symbolic occasion. The importance of the event was felt as the friends and family watched on. After the marriage had been made official by signing the wedding contract, it was time for all the loved ones to celebrate in the joy of the wedding and share in the happiness of the bride and groom.
After the ceremony
After the ceremony, guests were led to a beautifully decorated room where tables were filled with beautiful bouquets, and each place setting was immaculately presented, completed with a personal wedding favour. Celebrating with the wedding breakfast, guests enjoyed listening to speeches. Some which were light-hearted and funny, making the whole event much more personal to the happy couple.
Shabana’s best friend comments that the groom, Nabeel has “exceptional taste, and when you see something good you act fast” which was much to the amusement of the guests. Shabana’s friend also called Nabeel a “wise man who did not need to be told about the quality of the woman that is sitting next to you.” Not only a fitting wedding speech but one that showed genuine friendship as well.
As the speeches progressed, smiles and laughter were shared with all the guests and the atmosphere buzzed with love and warmth. Nabeel and Shabana had a beautiful moment exchanging rings in front of a stunning floral backdrop and as they cut their many-tiered wedding cake.
The floral backdrop was the perfect place for photographs to commemorate the special day while children danced, played and laughed in front. The photograph area was an excellent place for cinematography, with a beautiful sofa and white roses to add elegance to photographs and film shots. The whole event was beautiful and was undoubtedly their dream wedding come true.
