As a cinematographer I has been involved in manny different projects. However, it is the wedding and partnerships that offer so much for me to capture, be it a memorable shot, or just that perfect capturing of emotion that will be preserved forever. This is only made possible by the wonderful couples I work with, as well as their guests.
Steve and Fiona are a beautiful couple who enjoys every moment of each other’s company, and this was evident throughout the day. Steve is British, whereas Fiona is Scottish. Little touches throughout the day complimented the heritage of the couple, including a bagpipe player that serenaded guests as they entered the luxurious Northbrook Park venue in Surrey, a venue that allowed me to capture some truly immersive shots both inside and outside the venue.
Humour is evidently at the core of Steve and Fiona’s relationship, and this was instilled in a wonderful way, including a speech about how Steve and Fiona would grow old together, which while amusing was also very touching.
Guests from around the world joined in Northbrook Park to celebrate Steve and Fiona, and the celebration and emotion form the guest were in abundance throughout the day, with people being brought to tears as the Steve and Fiona made their emotional vows. People were entertained from start to finish, as there was a series of live music present throughout the day, which only help towards creating such and ambient and emotional atmosphere.
The wedding video from civil ceremony created for Steve and Fiona means that they have a memory of their special day to look back on at any time they wish. They are also able to show members of the family and friends who weren’t able to make the big day just how special and emotional the day was. I really enjoyed working with Steve and Fiona, and wish them every success for the future.
