NORTHBROOK PARK wedding film – Rav & Sharon

The Wedding Of Rav and Sharon

As a wedding cinematographer, it is always a joy to meet familiar faces at other events and hopefully be a part of their magical day at some point in the future. At a previous wedding I was filming, I was delighted to meet the acquaintance of Sharon, a makeup artist who was helping a beautiful bride to prepare for her big day. Soon after, Sharon asked me to be the wedding cinematographer for her winter wedding to Rav.

Day 1: Anand Karaj

The wedding was a two-day affair taking place in November. The first day consisted of an Anand Karaj, the Sikh marriage ceremony. The term Anand Karaj translates as a blissful or joyful union, and there couldn’t be a better way to describe the wedding ceremony of Rav and Sharon.
Sharon looked resplendent in her traditionally red and beautifully embellished attire, while the crowd welcoming groom Rav to the Gurdwara was nothing short of celebrity status. The Anand Karaj took place at Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Hounslow, a community-focused, progressive institution which served as the perfect location to celebrate a marriage with so many guests in attendance.
The love-filled ceremony brought happy tears to the eyes of many guests. It was a joy to capture the emotion of the celebration alongside the beautiful traditions in their Anand Karaj and, of course, the happy faces of the bride and groom.

Day 2: The Wedding Reception At Northbrook Park Surrey

The second day of the wedding weekend took place in Northbrook Park in Surrey. For the romance between Rav and Sharon, there was nowhere more fitting to celebrate with friends, family and loved ones in such an idyllic country estate as Northbrook Park.
Again, both the bride and groom dazzled in stunning outfits and beaming smiles. It was fantastic to film the couple alone in the grounds of the 120-acre estate as they began their married life together and see the excitement and love shine through.
After capturing the happy couple with the backdrop of beautiful scenery, it was time to ring in the wedding in style. The lights dimmed, the music started, and the happy guests swarmed to the dancefloor to sing, dance and laugh with old friends and new. The bride and groom had the chance to dance and celebrate with their nearest and dearest, so much so, it seemed like their feet never touched the ground!
It was such a privilege and a joy to film the wedding weekend for Rav and Sharon and to see how many people had come together to celebrate their wonderful wedding weekend.
