Stoneleigh Abbey Wedding Film – Tom and Meena
The Wedding Film For Tom and Meena
When it comes to the Great British weather, it is impossible to guarantee beautiful sunshine for your wedding day, even in summer. Tom and Meena booked their wedding for the middle of June this year, and even though the sun wasn’t a permanent feature, the colour of the wedding and the happy wedding guests certainly didn’t let grey clouds get in the way of a good party! It was an honour to create the wedding film of Meena and Tom full of vibrancy, fun and plenty of fire. With both a Hindu wedding and a civil ceremony for the wedding film, there was plenty of stand out moments and stunning wedding videography scenes to capture.
How the love story begins
For Tom and Meena, fate certainly played a part in their meeting. While Meena was studying in Cardiff, Tom was looking in the area for his first proper job. A mutual friend clearly saw their potential and proposed a meet-up. It wasn’t long before love blossomed between Tom and Meena. Then, while on holiday in Greece, Tom set up a beautiful proposal on the stunning island of Santorini after a sunset dinner, complete with Champagne and roses. How romantic! And, of course, Meena said yes. From that moment, it was time for Tom and Meena to plan their dream wedding and setting up the next stage of their life together.
The wedding of Tom and Meena
The wedding began with a Hindu wedding ceremony at the Shri Venkateswara Balaji Temple in Tividale. The ceremony was full of tradition and colour, with beautiful outfits for both the bride and groom. As they were led around the holy fire, it was fantastic wedding videography to capture the motions of the couple and all of the colour of the ceremony. The next day, it was time for the bride, Meena, to wear a stunning white wedding gown and for Tom to get suited and booted for a grand stately home wedding. The civil ceremony took place in the glorious setting of Stoneleigh Abbey, a Grade 1 listed mansion house that was built in 1154. The riverside setting was beautiful while, inside the Abbey, twinkling canopy lights danced in the darkness For wedding videography, I was certainly spoilt for choice! From fire dancers greeting the guests to the beautiful location for both the Hindu and civil ceremony, there was plenty to delight the guests. However, it was undoubtedly the personalised vows that captured everyone’s attention, and there were several tears of joy in the audience. From personalised vows from Tom stating; ‘Let us build a house filled with happiness and laughter’ to Meena quoting I See The Light from the Disney film Tangled, the vows summed up the romance, humour and friendship between the happy newlyweds. After the ceremony, it was time to dance the night away, and the guests did this with gusto. However, perhaps my favourite cinematic shot of the night was watching the bride and groom walk hand in hand into a glorious sunset, summing up the perfect wedding weekend.
