Wedding film Catmose Cottage and Hambleton Hall – Amit and Mohita
As a wedding videographer based in Northampton, I have had the pleasure of filming a number of beautiful weddings in the past; whether that be for a very religious day or a civil wedding. Offering wedding film in Leicestershire means I get to film at some truly spectacular locations and have the chance to see the wide range of wedding venues available, so it’s difficult to not have my favourites.
I recently filmed a civil wedding at Catmose Cottage and Hambleton Hall and I have to say, what a day! The couple were brilliant to work with, the weather was ideal and the locations offered the perfect backdrop for great shots. In cinematography, that’s all you can ask for.
This civil wedding had two key locations; Catmose Cottage and Hambleton Hall, both of which are popular wedding venues for all types of wedding. I started the day filming morning preparations at Hambleton Hall and captured how everything was slowly coming together, from guests arriving to the final touches being placed on the wedding party. This part of the day is important to capture on film as it showcases the quiet build up to what will be the happiest and most important day of two people’s lives.
Next, things moved over to Catmose Cottage where the civil ceremony itself took place. Catmose Cottage is beautiful and as a wedding cinematographer it is really enjoyable to film. With an air of tradition and history, I was able to capture every emotion the couple felt and the joy of guests with an elegant and relaxed backdrop.
Once the happy couple had said “I do!” and the civil wedding was complete everything moved back to Hambleton Hall for dinner and photographs. Hambleton Hall is a gorgeous country house which boasts comfort, style and history. Everything about the wedding at Hambleton Hall was filmed and I made a conscious effort to focus on three things; capturing the love of the couple, the genuine candid emotions of guests and to ensure this is a wedding film they’ll want to watch again and again. After all, a wedding film is the perfect reminder of a special day.
Catmose Cottage and Hambleton Hall are both exquisite wedding venues and it isn’t hard to see why they are such popular locations. Whilst filming there I was able to take advantage of the idyllic surroundings and impressive interiors to create a wedding film to be proud of.
